As part of the Professional Development team, Education Development Specialist (EDS) will play a critical role to uplift and transform Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) professional/pedagogical learning and capability building across NTUC First Campus (NFC)’s ECCE fraternity to derive better child outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the early childhood education professionals to co-design and administer questionnaires and conduct focus group discussions.
  • Conduct literature reviews when necessary.
  • De-conflict if necessary with childcare centre colleagues, families to coordinate data collection.
  • Organise research data and maintain research records while ensuring completeness and accuracy of data collected.
  • Choose the best tools to conduct data analysis and the development of relevant visual representations to present results
  • Be the key preparer of specific parts of proposals, reports and presentations when required.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in any field, with experience in data analysis and statistical methods
  • Familiarity with simple statistical software (e.g. JASP or Jamovi)
  • Proficient in MS Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Excel or Google Sheets
  • Ability to use a programming language (e.g. Python or R) and/or data visualisation platform (e.g. Google Data Studio or Tableau) would be advantageous
